Copenhagen, 27 October 2026. GetWhy today announced its most advanced platform release yet: Research Agent 2, the new Showreel Agent and GetWhy MCP for Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini. Together, they change what insights teams can do with their research once a study is done, from questioning an entire library to putting customer voices in front of the wider business.

Research Agent 2 is the next generation of GetWhy's research agent. It searches across every study, reads the reports and examines the participant videos before it answers, then places citations, direct quotes and video clips inside the conversation. Teams can challenge an answer, compare perspectives and go straight from a finding to the person behind it.

The Showreel Agent, built into Research Agent 2, turns those findings into a reel. It selects and sequences the clips, explains each choice and takes revisions in chat, then exports an MP4 ready for the next presentation.

GetWhy MCP brings the same research into the AI assistants organizations already use. In Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini, teams can ask about past studies, explore findings alongside business context and draft their next study brief. Each person sees only their own organization's research.

The aim of the release is simple: keep the people behind the findings in the room for every decision that follows.

Research Agent 2 reads your reports, searches across every study and watches the participant videos before it answers. It answers only from your research, and it shows you where every answer comes from.

Showreel Agent: bring your report to life

The research says it. A showreel lets the room watch customers say it. Ask Research Agent 2 for a showreel, or choose Create, then Showreel, and the agent builds it in front of you.

It finds the key moments, selects the clips and sequences the cut, naming the clip count and running time.
Ask why it chose a clip, and it explains.
Revise by chat: "tighten it to three". Your own edits stay.
Alternate clips wait under the reel. Nothing is deleted.
Trim word by word, cut pauses and correct subtitles.
Every clip shows the participant's name, age and market.
Download the finished reel as an MP4.
